Last night had winds of 30 kts most of the time. Sailed with triple reefed main and number 2. Seas less lumpy. However the wind direction was on the beam so fast sailing.
During today the winds have gradually lessened. I think we are now in the subtropical ridge. This is characterised by lighter winds but squally showers, up to 35 kts. Fortunately this lasts only 15-30 minutes but it seems longer!
About a third of the way there at least as measured by distance.
