Image Above: You can see Itchy Feet is emerging from a thick high cloud (very white = cold and high) associated with the front. While the main fleet is in clear skies as they head into the trades. The northern extension of the front will pass over the fleet early on Thursday morning.

GREAT to hear from you! I have been watching your progress avidly, especially when you were doing less than 2 knots last night!
We have not got positional reports from you for the evening sked on June 6th and the morning sked June 7th. You can email reports in to Maritime, and copy me, if you are having trouble with other methods. Or text or ring if needed. We just want to make sure you are safe.
Giacomo has finished, Vodafone has broken the record, the cruising boats here as well. Everyone is watching your progress and we hope to see your bow point at the finish after the trough tomorrow. Note several boats have lost Jon Buoys and life rings which you may come across.
Sail fast and safe,

Thanks heaps for last night, that was the confirmation we were looking for. We left our decision to head east too late and got into pretty heavy swell which keep pushing out.
We had a tough couple of nights but all safe and well. Nothing broken other than ego. Looking forward to drying out in some nicer weather in the forecast. Lots of stories to tell in the bar when we get there.
Great to hear the others have finished. Still a way to go but looking forward to getting there.
We have been sending the locations from the other phone so we’ll use this one from now on. Hopefully this will be more reliable.
